How can we help?
Everything you need to know about finding events, buying tickets and hosting on iEvent. Can't find your answer? We read every message.
For attendees
Finding events, tickets, payments and what happens at the door.
How do I find events near me?
Browse events by city, category, date and price, or start typing in the search box and matching events appear as suggestions. Save events you like with the heart, and follow organizers so their next event reaches you first.
Do I need an account to buy a ticket?
No. You can check out as a guest and we email your tickets. Creating an account keeps your order history and tickets in one place, and you can sign in with Google in one tap.
How do I pay for tickets?
Free events are instant: register and your tickets are issued on the spot. For paid events, you pay the organizer directly: transfer to the wallet or card shown at checkout and upload your receipt, or pay cash at the door where the organizer allows it. The organizer confirms your order, usually within a few hours. Online card and wallet payments inside checkout are on our roadmap.
Where are my tickets?
The moment your order is confirmed, your tickets are emailed to you as a PDF and appear under My tickets in your account. Each ticket has its own QR code, and you can download or print them anytime.
What happens at the door?
The organizer scans your ticket's QR code at entry. Each ticket admits one person and is voided once scanned, so it can't be reused. If tickets carry holder names, the organizer may check them against ID.
How do refunds work?
Every event page shows the organizer's refund policy before you pay a dinar. Refunds are issued by the organizer through the same method you paid with. If your order is refunded, its tickets are voided and you're notified by email.
What if the event is postponed or cancelled?
You're emailed automatically the moment the organizer changes the date or cancels. On a postponement your tickets stay valid for the new date. For events whose date is still to be announced, follow the organizer and you'll hear the moment it's set.
How do I manage my account?
From Account settings you can update your name, phone, city and profile photo, pick the interests that shape your recommendations, and switch the site between Arabic and English at any time.
For organizers
Publishing your event, getting paid and running the door.
How do I publish my first event?
Create your organizer profile in minutes, then the event wizard walks you through five steps: details, photos, tickets, extras and review. Your work is autosaved as a draft on the way, and nothing is public until you press Publish.
What does iEvent cost?
Nothing during the beta: no platform fees on any ticket, free or paid. After the beta, a small booking fee applies to paid tickets, published openly on our pricing page. Free events stay free forever.
How do I get paid?
Buyers pay you directly. Add your wallet or card details once, and buyers transfer to them at checkout and upload the receipt for you to confirm, or pay cash at the door if you enable it. Money never passes through iEvent.
My event's date isn't fixed yet. Can I still publish?
Yes. An event can have an exact date, run across several days, show just a month and year, or say the date is still to be announced. Set the real date later and every ticket buyer is notified.
How do photos and covers work?
Add up to 10 photos: upload your own or pick free stock photos from the built-in search. Star any image to make it the cover, adjust how each one is cropped, and two or more photos become a slideshow on your page.
How do I promote my event?
Every event gets share links per channel that count their own clicks, discount codes for early birds and partners, and an embeddable ticket widget for your own website. Your page is automatically translated so both Arabic and English audiences can read it, and you can list it under up to 3 categories.
How does check-in work at the door?
Open Check-in on your phone and scan QR codes with the camera. Each ticket is validated once, the live counter updates as guests arrive, and you can undo any scan if needed. If a code won't scan, find the guest in the door list and check them in by name.
Can my team help me run the event?
Yes. Invite teammates by email with the role you choose: full management access or check-in only. They accept the invite and appear in your team list, and you can remove them anytime.
What if I need to postpone or cancel?
Both are one action from your event console. Every buyer is emailed automatically: on a postponement tickets stay valid for the new date, and on a cancellation you arrange refunds per your policy.
