Terms of Use

iEvent is an event discovery and ticketing platform for Iraq, operated by Hillool OÜ (Estonia). Effective date: August 24, 2026 · Last updated: August 24, 2026.

Important: iEvent is an intermediary platform.

  • iEvent connects attendees with organizers, it doesn't sell tickets itself
  • We don't collect ticket payments or hold your funds
  • The organizer is responsible for their event and its refund policy

01Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Hillool OÜ (registry code 16212483, Estonia) ("iEvent", "we") governing your use of the iEvent website and app (the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

02Who can use iEvent

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform or buy tickets, because the Platform involves payments and may list age-restricted events. By using the Platform, you confirm you meet this requirement and have legal capacity. The Platform is aimed at users in Iraq, and you are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you.

03iEvent's role

iEvent is an intermediary platform that lets organizers publish events and sell tickets, and lets attendees discover and book them. The ticket purchase contract is made directly between you and the organizer, we are not a party to it.

iEvent does not own or run events, does not sell tickets itself, does not collect ticket payments, and does not hold funds. Our role is limited to providing the Platform and its tools, in return for a service fee charged to the organizer (currently waived during our beta period).

04Accounts

Some features require an account. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account, and you agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Notify us at the email below of any unauthorized use.

05Tickets & payments

  • Payments are processed by third-party providers (ZainCash, FIB/FastPay, Qi Card, Visa/Mastercard) or paid in cash directly to the organizer at the door, either way, the funds go to the organizer. iEvent does not receive or hold ticket funds.
  • Prices, taxes, and fees set by the organizer or payment provider may apply; the final price is shown before you confirm.
  • A ticket (and its QR code) is valid subject to the organizer's terms; entry may be refused for a breach of those terms, or for age restrictions.
  • You're responsible for the accuracy of the details you enter at purchase.

Financial transactions, service fees, and any applicable taxes in Iraq may be subject to local rules; these aspects are subject to review by local legal counsel.

06Refunds & cancellations

Because the ticket contract is between you and the organizer, refunds and cancellations are the organizer's responsibility, under the policy they publish on the event page. iEvent is not responsible for refunds, nor for an event being postponed, cancelled, or changed.

The organizer is under a binding obligation to honor its published refund policy and to deliver the event as described. If an event is cancelled or a refund dispute arises, contact the organizer directly, we may help, without obligation, to put you in touch. An organizer's failure to provide a due refund, or promotion of a fake event, is a violation that may be referred to the competent Iraqi authorities (see Section 11). Your mandatory rights under Iraqi law remain unaffected.

07Organizer terms

These terms apply in addition to the above if you publish events or sell tickets through iEvent:

For organizers
  • You are solely responsible for your event: the accuracy of its information, its licensing, its safety, and actually delivering it.
  • You set and honor the prices and refund policy, and you handle attendee and refund requests.
  • iEvent charges you a service fee on tickets sold through the Platform (currently waived during our beta period), shown in your organizer dashboard. Your earnings are paid out via the payout details you provide.
  • You warrant that your event and content are lawful in Iraq, don't breach public order or third-party rights, and you set and verify any age restrictions at entry.
  • You are an independent controller of the attendee data you receive, and you handle it lawfully and in line with our Privacy Policy.
  • iEvent may remove any event or suspend an organizer account that breaches these Terms or the law.
  • You indemnify iEvent against claims arising from your event, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

Organizing events and selling tickets in Iraq may require local licenses or permits; this is your responsibility and is subject to review by local legal counsel.

08Acceptable use & content

You must use the Platform in full compliance with the applicable laws of the Republic of Iraq. You are specifically prohibited from:

  • Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of Iraqi public order or public morals;
  • Publishing or promoting any event or content that is unlawful, deceptive, fraudulent, or that infringes third-party or intellectual-property rights;
  • Posting content that incites violence or hatred, or that contains material prohibited under Iraqi law;
  • Selling tickets to fake or unlicensed events, or manipulating prices or tickets;
  • Money laundering or financing unlawful activity through the Platform or its payment providers;
  • Attempting to breach or disrupt the Platform, or gaining unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data;
  • Using automated means to scrape content or overload the Platform.

iEvent may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, remove any content or event and suspend or terminate any account that breaches these Terms or Iraqi law. You bear sole and full legal responsibility for any violation, and acknowledge that iEvent may take appropriate action in response, including as set out in Section 11.

09Intellectual property

The Platform and the iEvent name, logo, and design are owned by Hillool OÜ and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal license to use the Platform. Organizers keep the rights to the content they post, granting us the license needed to display it and operate the Platform.

10Third-party services

The Platform relies on third-party services, including without limitation payment providers (ZainCash, FIB/FastPay, Qi Card, the card processor), hosting, and analytics, plus standard supporting technologies. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms. These providers may change over time, and we are not responsible for services we don't control. A current list is kept in our Privacy Policy.

11Compliance with Iraqi law & cooperation with authorities

iEvent operates in the Republic of Iraq and is committed to its laws. By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Your use of the Platform, whether as an attendee or an organizer, must at all times comply with the applicable laws and regulations of Iraq.
  • iEvent reserves the right to report any unlawful or suspected unlawful activity to the competent Iraqi authorities, and to cooperate fully with official and law-enforcement bodies in Iraq.
  • iEvent may disclose account, event, or transaction data to the competent authorities where legally required, or where it believes in good faith that this is necessary to comply with the law or to protect rights or public safety.
  • Any dispute, violation, or offense relating to an event, content, or transaction is subject to Iraqi law, and the user or organizer bears full legal responsibility for it before the competent Iraqi authorities.
  • Nothing in these Terms relieves any user or organizer of their legal responsibility under Iraqi law.

The specifics of applying Iraqi law and cooperating with the authorities are subject to review by local legal counsel.

12Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Platform is provided "as is", without warranties, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the quality of any event, that it will take place, or the accuracy of what organizers post. Because iEvent is an intermediary that doesn't sell tickets or hold funds, we are not responsible for events, organizers, refunds, cancellations, or any resulting loss.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hillool OÜ will not be liable for indirect or consequential damages. This doesn't limit liability that cannot be excluded by law, nor your mandatory rights under applicable Iraqi law.

13Termination

You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Platform in a way that harms us or others. Clauses that by nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, indemnity) remain in effect after termination.

14Governing law & disputes

The Platform is operated by the Estonian company Hillool OÜ and operates within the Republic of Iraq. These Terms, and any dispute arising from use of the Platform, events, or transactions, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Iraq, and the competent Iraqi courts have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to Iraq's mandatory consumer-protection rules.

Where a matter concerns the operating company as an Estonian entity (for example, data processing under GDPR), Estonian/EU law may additionally apply. This does not affect the right of the competent Iraqi authorities to apply Iraqi law to activities within Iraq.

15Changes & contact

We may update these Terms from time to time; we'll update the "Last updated" date and notify of significant changes via the Platform. Continued use means you accept them.
