Energy Auditing Training

The Cultural Activities Committee (CAC) at the Iraqi Engineers Union (IEU) HQ in Baghdad announces the opening of registration for the third cohort of Energy Auditing Training Course. The training is coordinated by the Committee and delivered by the International Trade Centre (ITC) team under the European Union-funded Building Equitable and Inclusive Transformation in Iraq (BEIT) project.

The training will run from Monday, 23 November, to Thursday, 26 November 2026, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM each day, providing a total of 16 training hours over four days. Sessions will take place at Baghdad Hall, IEU HQ in Baghdad. Registration closes by the end of Thursday, 19 November 2026.

The training targets engineers in civil, electrical, mechanical and architectural engineering, building services, HVAC, energy performance and related fields, as well as final-year engineering students. Selection will consider specialization, knowledge, interest, practical need and commitment, with priority given to IEU members with valid membership and consideration given to previous applicants who were not selected. Women are encouraged to apply!

Training is free of charge and seats are limited. Submitting an application does not guarantee admission. Acceptance notifications will be sent via email to the address provided in the application form, and accepted applicants must confirm their attendance by replying to the acceptance email. Certificates will be awarded exclusively to participants who attend all training days and complete all requirements, including the pre- and post-tests, evaluation and final practical capstone project.
