National Forum for Trade and Investment in Iraq

The National Forum for Trade and Investment in Iraq opens up opportunities for communication and partnership between Iraqi and European companies.

The forum brings together Iraqi companies with international buyers, investors and business partners, through bilateral meetings organized according to the interests of the participants and specialized discussion sessions in the economic sectors.
Baghdad – In line with Iraq’s efforts to diversify its economy and promote private sector-led growth, the Iraq National Trade and Investment Forum 2026 brings together business representatives, investors and policymakers to explore new trade and investment opportunities.
The forum is being held under the slogan “Iraqi-European Partnership in Trade and Investment to Support Economic Transformation in Iraq,” and is organized by the Iraqi government, represented by the Ministry of Trade, in partnership with the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce, with support from the European Union and implementation by the International Trade Centre.
The forum will be held on October 28 and 29 at the Babylon Rotana Hotel in Baghdad, and will highlight opportunities in strategic sectors, including agriculture and food industries, building materials and housing, renewable energy and green technologies, manufacturing industries, logistics and transportation, and digital services.
